PMT is a medical exam, conducted at national level for entrance in various medical colleges. PMT stands for Pre Medical Test. Earlier PMT exam was conducted through AIPMT. From 2013 onward AIPMT is replaced by NEET. NEET stand for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. NEET replaced AIPMT and all medical exams which were conducted at college or state level. Students wishing to do medical courses (MBBS), dental courses (BDS) or postgraduate courses (MD/MS) from any government or private college need to qualify NEET exam. First exam was conducted on 5 May 2013 and results were declared on 5 June 2013. Expected date for 2014 exam is 1 May.

Pattern of PMT Exams
From 2013 onwards pattern of pmt exam has been changed. Instead of prelims and mains, only one exam is conducted. One question paper with 180 objective type questions is provided. After successful submission of fee, take print out of examination form and enclose it in envelope with other documents like proof of submission of fee and affidavit and submit it.
